the issue was that the pedal would have slop at the top while no negative effects on the clutch itself. the softer helper spring just pushed the pedal back to near the top where the factory position is.

:tup: no prob. its easy to do it if you hold a flashlight in your left hand like a dagger and shine the pedal e-clip while you undo it with your right hand (if you're right handed that is..).


:rofl2: i suppose if you use a thick blanket over the engine bay you can remove the hood and slide it off the car without damage to the fenders. :D
