any of you try the new hero4? how is it compared to the hero2 i have? :ugh:

the thing i didnt like about the hero3 was the integrated charger/mic input. :ugh2:
my camera is always hooked up to a power source in my Z so i want power and mic-input separate.

i guess an ideal camera would be a silent noise floor camera with dedicated power jack, with stereo mic input.

and wireless monitor.

NiMh...?? use Lipo, you're gonna have much more fun!!!

we use about 5-6.5A to charge a pack of 7.4v LiPo which the capacity is about 7000mah, and it takes about 40 minutes...

and the run time is about 15~ minutes with a 17.5 turn brushless motor...

I bet this is the direction you may go in the future, since it is very easy to maintain, no battery-memory, less heat, and the pack last forever...

yah, lipo is definitely in my radar, but i just have too many batteries that i can use right now. thought the long storage would permanently kill my nicds, but no issue. 2-3 cycles and they are as good as new.

i did find a few sub-cs that have shorter run time so im going to start desoldering those and replace with fresh loose ones i still have..

Mr.kenchan, currently I am using one from HiTec for my racing purpose, and I think it is also suitable for your need...

X2 Ultima Dual 200 Watt Multi-Charger | HITEC RCD USA

it is a dual channel charger and it is compatible with Li-Ion, LiPo and LiFe.

very easy to use and it an charge 2 packs at the same time.

I use it on the national race and the performance is very very nice.
