Alot of security companies these days try to make the low paid security officers uniforms look like they are the real police... they think that it will help deter people from acting up...

He had a gun holstered. I've never seen armed security guards at schools.

They have them around here.... They also have them at area hospitals...

He's definitely carrying his keys on his belt like a rent-a-cop would. I've never seen an actual police officer have his keys swinging around from his belt like that. It certainly wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't a real cop. Pretty unprofessional from what I can tell. And yes, I've seen plenty of armed security guards.
