so last night after getting a luna, i decided to move things around in the basement with my wife's supervision since i needed to get into her workshop area to expand my rc track.
everything went well, nothing broke, wife's okay with her setup, and i got about 5 extra square ft.  this enables me to make 3 nice curvy hairpins instead of one boring u-turn  in that particular corner.
