The New "What did you do with your Z today" (with off topic replies) XV

Now that I put my new shift knob on, I'm aware of where my shifter boot is wearing where it made contact with the OEM knob. Guess a new boot

Guess a new boot is in my future.

I found some neat roads to drive this past weekend that you guys may know about already.

Lohman Ford off of 1431 in Largo Vista is a really nice road. The road off of 1431 to my friend's house was great too. I don't remember the name, but there's a big sign to a winery there.

Also, found some neat connectors around The Oasis, but I'm sure you guys know about them. Did you know they serve a Sunday Brunch at Steiner Ranch? We passed by their around 11:30 am yesterday, and the lot was maybe 1/3 full so the parking is great. There was a guy playing music out on the back deck.

Of course you can bum along! I've been wanting to try Steiner Ranch Steakhouse so I'm down with that. Just let me know when you will be in the area.

Is Austin's Cars and Coffee the third Sunday of the month? I'd like to organize the cruise around that. I think I could get some of the Houston crowd up there for a weekend.

depending on the shape of your new knob, you can make a finisher that sits between the knob and the boot out of ballcockshank washer in the toilet section at homedepot. you'll need to spin it and trim it down to size.
