Wtf is the snow/winter $hit you guys keep talking about?

JARblue 10-04-2014 08:15 AM

I actually love snow. But that's because I don't experience it except 1-5 times a year in the form of between 1/8"-1/2" :rofl2:

I lived in Fort Collins, CO for a year of my life, so I have a pretty good idea of how much I would hate having to deal with it on a yearly basis. I remember the first serious snow in Oct was like 4" overnight, and everyone gave me $hit for thinking that classes at CSU would be cancelled :icon17: Thankfully, my wife hates the cold and snow way more than me; I don't expect we'll be moving to a cold climate any time soon.

Same for me. Our families are here and given my job, she doesn't want to leave. Understandable. Maybe I should work on our parents instead, they're looking to retire soon. Perhaps they'll go somewhere warm....

The only time winter didn't make me miserable it's when I'm snow boarding. So yeah 98% of the time it sucks lol. The sun makes me happy

Yeah, boarding is great but I suck at and have injured myself in the <10 times I've been. I enjoy the hell out of it every time  :wtf2:

My wife has never been, so we'll probably go skiing whenever we go. I haven't done that in more than 25 years, but the video my parents have show me doing pretty well at age 6 :icon17:
