goodam everyone! :hello:

checking in... :ugh:

kenchan 09-22-2014 09:15 AM

so last night i finished building the rc truck chassis with my kid watching. :D
will be working on the decals tonight for the body...

will be ordering my next (and final one for this run) kit sometime this week.

had to redo the oil dampers twice since i only have one oil weight enough to do 4 housings..

kenchan 09-22-2014 09:17 AM

basically needed to use aftermarket piston disc with 3 tiny holes to get the dampness needed for the truck... thing sticks to the ground like glue now. :p

need to get thicker oil weights though for my stock for other trucks.

Great news for my wife. So-so news for the Z :icon17:

I would rather them say no, so I can just go ahead and install the Whiteline polyurethane bushing kit that won't fail as quickly as the OEM silicone-filled rubber one will. But the wife is already mad at me for buying wheels with used tires instead of new tires, and I'm very short on free time these days. So warranty coverage it is

:icon17: hahaha your wife sounds very smart with $$ which is  considering she is CPA, that is expected i suppose, huh? :icon17: hahaha

yah, if that thing broke on my car i suppose i might let the dealer do it too since it lasted 5yrs already, a new oem one would last me the rest of the 4yrs 11months im planning on keeping the car. :icon17: hahaha

so why is it that people buy faux heavy wheels and complain their car is slower off the line? :ugh:

kinda like gaining huge weight from frozen pizza and then later complaining they feel tired... :ugh2:
