I was enlisted AirForce, now retired since 2009. Its a nice ride to show off to all your military buds, but both 370z and the GTR are just that, CARS. Having some extra cash in the bank is a much better decision, being in the miltay, cuz you surely wont strike it rich in the military unless you make General.

Dude, its your money, do whatever the f#@$ you want with it!! I say go GTR, because even when stock, it will spank 99% of the cars!!

My vision......
OP goes out to club looking fly in his GTR... Sexy women fight for the chance to go home with the rich dude in the supercar. He rolls out with a honey under his arm, and she's stoked that she got the prize.:happydance: She wants to go cruise around, but he has no $$ left for gas. Can't take her home, Mom and dad are watching the news. "hey babe, we can hit up a motel 6, can I borrow $50 ? I.....uh....lost my wallet:shakes head: :gtfo2: Stick with the Z |
Thats a great vision. Problem, I dont like clubs,

No worries I'll explain. In the post I quoted he's attempting to show you all the expenses involved in owning a 370 if you want to be a responsible owner who takes care of and appreciates what one has worked for. There are some many expenses involved with ownership not just the car itself. Please for the love of god deny your urge to buy that gtr. This is coming from experience. When I was around your age I bought a used Porsche Cayman s because I always wanted a Porsche but at the time I didn't consider all the expenses that are involved with owning a high end foreign sports car. Just because the car is used doesn't mean you get to buy used oil changes tune ups tires etc ect. Just for example in a matter of 6 weeks while owning the cayman I had over 6k in just normal service crap like tires alignments tune up ect. This was the same way when I bought a CLS 63amg. If you want to buy a 100,000k sports car be prepared for astronomical maintenance fees. Please just buy a 370 and put mods in it as you feel comfortable. After all you can get a z to go as fast as a stock gtr for far less money. Please don't think I'm judging you for wanting that gtr! For crying out loud who doesn't! But take it from somebody who's been there bro and just don't. You have your whole life ahead of you to get a gtr. I think you will appreciate it later in life much more than you would now anyway

One more thing....how's your driving record because mine,at your age, was terrible and my car insurance was almost as much as the note every month. Might want to run that buy your car insurance company if you decide against all advice.again I'm not trying to break balls but you asked. Good luck and if you do decide to get that gtr........ Can I drive it? Please please please!

You can do what you want. It's your money, but if you're going to be deploying you should bankroll all the money. It sounds like you're going to ETS in about four years. I'd invest the cash until you have clear plan about what's going to happen after you get out. Financial security trumps any feeling a car will give you. You bank the money for the next four years and getting your next hot car won't be an issue.

Your future plans actually involve living with your parents? I can blow $75k in a lot better ways.
