Job took just under 2 hours to complete, which was interrupted early on with rain that quickly cleared.

Excuse for missing the trunk detail "Sorry, got sidetracked by the rain, I'll give you some money off on your next detail".

Thoughts? Opinions? Would you permit them to touch your car again? Did they do all the work that was supposed to be done in two hours' time? Could it have possibly been done properly, considering the remaining bug guts??

uhmmmmm. 2 hours and $200 and the didnt do the inside of the hatch?
Did the get inside doors and door jams?
I think I would be underwhelmed.
No harm in trying it I guess and if that is the worst thing

That's a lot of money. I wouldn't hesitate to call them out. If he gives you a discount and makes sure to get it right the next time, then maybe they get a second chance.

But I would never use one of these services. I just don't trust their towels or their technique. Even if the car has to stay dirty for longer periods of time, I would rather do it myself and know that everything is done properly. I'd hate to pay someone else to put swirls in my paint, when I spent so much time learning the right way from Junkman. To qualify, I'm sure there are high quality detailers out there, just none in Austin it seems.

i didnt know honda revised the civic si coupe this year, huh? i saw one this am and it actually looked pretty good.

Getting him to focus on his Harley was the best thing I've done in a long time.

He is much more amenable to my Z wants now
