you in your twenties or thirties or? i moved out soon after graduating colledge (university)... moved 2K miles away from home. wanted to try it out on my own. turned out okay, i thinks. :icon17:

I'm 26 right now. I went to ottawa for university (400km) away so it was like living away from home. I just started working and pretty fortunate where I am right now! Housing is not affordable with my income and I think getting a car before a condo(UGHHHH) or house is more reasonable. Atleast the car is somewhat mobile! For the most part I get along with my family and grandparents a few doors down. Good family dynamic my parents are pretty liberal and the goal is to hopefully move out before 30... lol

 GL to you. every family is different. one of my kid's friends parents takes care of their parents and live under the same roof. for me, it was just natural to move out right out of college cause thats how it was with my parents when they were young. :D

i too plan on kickin my kids out of the house after they graduate college so that they can be completely independent. i train them everyday in hopes that they are ready to move out by the time they're 22.
