TV's Funniest Commercial Characters
I agree with some, not with all....these are national ones...anyone got any "local" commercial characters they want to share?
10. The Geico Money You Could Be Saving Making his debut on the list is "the money you could be saving with Geico." Unlike his cavemen and gecko colleagues, the money doesn't speak, but only stares at us with his big eyes and stacked bills as the 80's hit "Somebody's Watching Me" plays in the background. This little guy is so appealing for two reasons. First, everyone loves a good 80's electro-pop hit and second, even more people like a big stack of money. 9. The Red Bull Bird The bird in the Red Bull commercials isn’t really funny on his own, but he helps make for one very funny commercial (he poops on a guy, the guy drinks red bull, then he grows wings and gets revenge on the bird -- who doesn't love that?) 8. The Aflac Duck The Aflac duck made his television debut in 2000, and has been quacking his way into our hearts ever since. He can be seen performing such daring adventures as flying a plane, driving a monster truck, playing "Duck, Duck, Goose" with kids and even working on a construction site. But throughout all his adventures, he always remember to say his catch-phrase (and company's name) AFLAC! 7. The Capital One Vikings The Vikings in the Capital One credit card commercials keep us laughing as they try to adapt to modern situations. The premise features the Vikings looking for work after Capital One credit card users leave fewer people to pillage with high rates. 6. Cheetos' Chester Cheetah Chester Cheetah has been the face of Cheeto’s since the 80’s. He recently became a whole lot funnier, thanks to commercials which encourage people to use their Cheetos in acts of revenge or to solve problems. 5. The Travelocity Roaming Gnome Travelocity's Roaming Gnome always seems to find himself in sticky situations as he tests out all the activities that traveler's should do after saving money. According to his official profile on Travelocity.com, the Gnome's hobbies include finding "smashing travel deals, combing my lustrous beard and Photoshopping my passport picture so I look just a smidge taller." 4. The Geico Cavemen After a bitter battle, the Geico cavemen come in just two spots behind their arch rival and colleague, the Gecko. But go easy on these guys, it's been a rough few years for cavemen. Not only are they continuously barraged with insults by their employer ("So easy a caveman could do it") but they also unemployed. Their television show, which debuted in 2007, was cancelled just weeks after its debut. Ouch. 3. The Burger King King After a successful run in the 1970s, the Burger King "King" made a successful return to TV with his hysterical, yet rather creepy commercials. He doesn't speak or show any other emotion than his plastered smile, but for one reason or another, he keeps us watching. 2. The Geico Gecko Geico's Gecko is quite possibly the most famous commercial mascot of the past few years, charming viewers with his delightful cockney accent (even though he was originally an American) and schooling them on the ways they could save money. But insiders say the Gecko is letting his success get to his head and is even being compared to Britney and Madonna, who also drift in and out of British accents. 1. The Weight Watchers Hunger Monster In a surprise upset, the adorable hunger monster from Weight Watchers takes our top spot as the funniest television commercial character. The fuzzy orange monster may seem cute and cuddly, but his dedication to his work of getting us to give into our snacking desire is relentless. From dangling pizzas and donuts in our faces to tap-dancing on our desks, we just can't resist this little guy's charms and will keep on tuning in to watch his latest tricks and schemes.

Needs a different order imo... There is NOOO way the 'hunger monster' is funnier than the gieco gecko, caveman, chester cheetah, or the aflac duck....

Thank Fox News for the predetermined order...which is obviously incorrect.

Personally, the funniest commercials are "the most interesting man in the world" by Dos XX and Budsweiser's "real men of genius."

You know...that doesn't count towards the remaining "useful" comments you owe, right?
