If they do spend time making the z even lighter, it'll probably cost more due to the materials used.
He is old and back then the 240z was the ****.
It is now 2009 and the 370z is the ****.

No, try like $100,000+. There's a reason that certain Ferrari's that extensively use CARBON FIBER this and that, cost what they do.

A Porsche 911 base, Cayman, or E92 M3 costs about $70K, I don't think they use exotic materials, and they all weigh similar to the 370 if not heavier.

The Vette is a bigger car, but weighs lighter than the 370z but also close to it's price range. It can be done without Carbon Fiber as Carbon Fiber a lot of times is heavier than just Alum on panels.

But isn't a Vette's shell fiberglass, and doesn't use a unibody chasis?
