Thanks Smooth, ya we marinated the meat over night in the listed ingredients above, then used the marinade as a BBQ sauce for the meat when it was cooking on the grill

That's how I marinate chicken satay and then cook it. I'll have to try your recipe.

i dont drink either so...but i guess it effects the flavor overall
