Tonights dinner was planned, however the end result was not...

You see, after spending the first ten years of my military career in Germany I became quite acustom to the culture, food and drink...

One memory that I cherish most was with a restaurant called the Schloss in the town of Illesheim where I resided...

They had a dish that was so unique to anything that I have ever experienced that it left such a great impression on me that it became ingrained in my memory to date...

It was a simple dish yes, but packed with so much flavor that it was litterally like an orgasm in my mouth (i know tmi, but hey i need to portray the feeling/taste as accurately as possible

).

The recipe is a traditional Bavarian dish and consist of a fresh pork schnitzel with ham and swiss cheese (german cordon blue) fried in a bread crumb batter and served with french fries. A finely chopped mushroom gravy sauteed and pored over both the schnitzel and fries...

any way just wante to share my memory with you all, please enjoy the photos

PS: I had homemade Macaroni and Cheese this goround, next time it will be pomfrites

wtf do you do man? There's no way you work out, you don't have the time from what I can tell. You eat these meals all the time, your drinking makes fish feel embarrassed, but you're not fat. What gives?

i wish i could eat that, my grandma is from germany and probably remembers some receipes from the homeland
