I received a call from the manager at 24HR Fitness last night. I explained the story to him. He didn't seem all that surprised, but he said he would talk to the guy the next morning. We don't have 24HR Fitness here, so it was a bogus move on his part. The manager said his employee should've been a bit nicer with his approach in regards to the policies. He sympathized with me and said "You're human and you have every right to respond that way." I thanked him, and that was pretty much it.

Right on
I will say that I've found it's most effective to ignore idiots like that and speak to their supervisor on the spot. Before you start a pissing match with the idiot, DEMAND to see his manager/supervisor. If you have to raise your voice, just yell "Get your manager" so everyone in the place can hear.

Yea, his manager wasn't in that day. He told me they tend to take matters in their own hands when the managers aren't around. Roid trip much?
