I would suggest contacting the nearest AFROTC and NROTC Detachments since you are still in college. They can give you all kinds of information on what their respective services have

I would suggest contacting the nearest AFROTC and NROTC Detachments since you are still in college. They can give you all kinds of information on what their respective services have to offer even if you aren't interested in becoming a cadet. I would also ignore the comments about "avoiding conflict and sitting behind a desk" as well. As ZCarMan said, all of the services bring their own unique set of skills to the fight, and you are virtually guaranteed to deploy at this point no matter if you choose USN or USAF.
