Yeah a tune is the best way to fix it. The product I'm familiar with is called Speedboost controller or something like that. My understanding is it just increases the voltage to trick the ECU into thinking you have the pedal pushed down further than you actually do. Not a real fix IMO since you can just adjust your throttle input yourself - basically you mash the throttle harder than you normally would. A tune is much more effective, not to mention I got better gas mileage after (I think the Speedboost makes it worse).
