Just curious to know why the gap is gradually increasing between premium unleaded and regular unleaded gas. When I first moved over here to the USA it was approx 20 cents more for premium, now the gap has increased by almost 40 cents.
It is my assumption that more and more car makers are recommending premium hence the stores hiking up their prices for profit. Whats your theory or fact? Perhaps there should be an inquiry as to why these prices are so high for premium. I found this article written on here most interesting. The truth about Regular, Plus and Super gasoline.
