It used to be .20, now its .30 most places, .40 some. When it was 1-2 per gallon, .20 was a higher percentage than the .30-.40 is at todays prices. Premium is actually a bargain now, relatively speaking.

At $1/gal, and .20 bump is an extra 20% for premium. At $3/gal, a .30 bump is only an additional 10%

The octane ratings in the US are different from Europe.
98 in Europe is 93.1 in the US.
All the gas stations in my area carry 93.
I'm not missing the .1.

Ah....no, you are wrong. European jungle juice is a higher octane rating then NA "premium".
