One things for sure, it definitely didn't go the way of the Accord. That thing is almost as hideous as a Versa hatch

They ruined it IMO. similar to what happened to the civic.

yah, ive only see picts but i have to agree... thing looks more and more like a plasticy dust vac...

i luv the current accord sedan design. so simple and nice looking, kinda old skool.

i remember people were saying it looked like the genesis sedan.

f- that.... i saw a genesis sedan and it looked like shitt compared to the current accord sedan.

completely agree. the previous gen was borderline ugly... the current gen is like frikken ugly.

The tail lights have a close resemblance to the Genesis Sedan. But agree, the current Accord was a step in the right direction. The 8th gen Accord was a flop. I do hate Honda's VCM garbage on their v6s though. Too much unnecessary complications to an otherwise great engine for a measly 1-2mpg gain.

Did you see the fit will have a CVT now?

yah, if i ever get an accord sedan, it would be the 4 banger 6MT.
cvt... meh.... and 2015 fits are going to be made in mexico.

the fit's i have are made in japan... and are great as beaters, and
having some fun in the MT.

The other problem with the fit is they added a 6th gear for the mt, but the final drive ratio remained the same as the old one.

my MT can still get 36mpg+ on hwy which is more than enough for me. maybe not for poor people that usually buys these cars.

some folks are pissed off when tires dont last like 30K miles. wtf... 30k miles on cheap narrow all season tires. lol
