If anyone's on the fence about buying one of those, don't be. They're fantastic. I love mine.

Expect to pay another $150ish to the delivery driver to offload it at your house unless you have your own forklift.

Well more than 2k easily, honeymoon was a bit pricey but will be a lot of fun.
Probably will be something I pick up when we buy our own house in a year or so.

It'll pay itself back in a couple of years $25 or so at a time as you help buddies with car projects. And if you move, unbolt it and take it with you. You just need a new set of anchors.

Will the arms fit under the sideskirts of a lowered Z?

How low? I'm on Eibachs and I just roll up on two pieces of 1/2" plywood in front.

Be careful. The construction of the slab on grade in a typical home may not be able to handle the forces involved. You may need to remove a piece of your slab on grade and install a proper footing.

I am having visions of someone bolting the lift to a 2" slab and having the whole thing fail and kill someone.

:iagree: Do your homework on your garage floor first.

If you go to their website, they go into detail on the type of slab needed. They even show the math. All you need is 4" and no cracks. 4" is code here, but YMMV depending on location. I lucked out and it ended up being located on a 24" thick part of the slab.

Swifts with Evo-R sideblades, so yeah Id probably have to roll up on some plywood. Thanks for the info.

Careful with the side skirts. The arms telescope, and my Top Secret skirts stuck out far enough to not clear the thicker part of the arm. That's why I'm selling them (shameless for-sale whoring).

I'd rather have a lift than side skirts, so I went back to stock.

The no crack thing is key and show me a slab on grade with out a crack. And good luck finding a contractor that pours a full 4 inch slab in a garage.

Looks like a great product at a reasonable price just dont kill yourself. No skimping on the proper foundation.

Unless you're building the garage with a future lift in mind, this is key. If your house has an existing garage, do your homework.

im going to my local costco today see if they have it in their warehouse. I can pick it up there no delivery needed for me.
