i'm back to using my x220, it still runs like champ. i prefer thinkpads for work as well and i just use my desktop for a/v stuff so i don't really need the macbook

thanks. yah, i was kinda worried about the track pad as a lot of hardcore thinkpad users weren't too happy with it...but i have absolutely NO issues with the trackpad.

i like the keyboard and the screen.

you're a nice guy to give you mbp to your dad.
