Any ideas on this one guys?

HVAC/Radio/Nav Control Issue

I'm ready for the onslaught of smart-arse, useless responses, and the "Google it" comments. Google came up with only something close to what I am experiencing.

Any help would be appreciated.

that's a tuff one to diagnose without seeing the car, but i think i would remove any wiring you put on the nav unit before taking the car in is a good idea.

(it might also fix your problem).

i remember a long time ago some folks were wiring their G35C's side markers to blink with the turn signals. it worked great at first, but after a while people were going in for control module damage. lol kinda reminded me of that issue.

yah, electronic clutch does sound good in a completely different non-melodic kinda way too.

this is another reason why i might consider getting an electronic clutch AT car next (while keeping my MT car).

I had a similar problem with my HU when i first installed it. It would shut down-just totally black out. No probs w hvac though. I think we just totally reset the HU-total power down. But i don't remember how we did it.
Did you try that (probably but Im asking anyway).

I can't believe I've been so out of touch lately! A bunch of you see that I've been active on FB but just noticed that the 10th revision of my thread was locked, and the 11th is over 100 pages deep!

We've got tons of tornado warnings here in Daytona, delaying the Daytona 500.
