Below is the Nissan excerpt: NISSAN: Nissan says sales grew 11.8% in January compared to last year. Some of the best gains came in niche models. As it has in recent months, Nissan scored with its all electric Leaf, which saw sales almost double for the month. And the Juke crossover, with an edgy design, set a January record with a 45.8% increase. The Frontier pickup was up 87.9% Nissan's all-important midsize sedan, Altima, had a 4.9% sales boost and its popular family hauler, the redesigned Rogue crossover, was up 54.5%. That was a January record. |
that new rogue looks so much better than the previous gen. i think that car will sell well.

I agree, although I didn't find the 1st gen offensive. The interior was getting dated and outclassed by the competition though. As we're expecting a spring arrival, we got a '14 Rogue SL Premium about a month ago as our family vehicle. It has been great so far, glad to hear it is selling well already. The 1st gen Rogue was Nissan's second-best seller, so they need this one to go over well. Too bad the forums for it are so lousy. The one I've joined is pretty quiet, a lot of hate from 1st gen owners suffering from new model sour grapes it seems, including moderators. There was actually a serious discussion about how the new Rogue (a car-based tall wagon) has no-off road credibility since it has 0.9" lower ground clearance than the apparently trail-rated outgoing model. Seriously. http://i61.tinypic.com/2isyy38.jpg |
From the Nissan web site, there were 440 Z's sold in the US during January 2014. A 32.9% increase from January 2013 (331 sold).
