I'm currently using an iPhone 3G. As I'm with T-Mobile, I was forced to use a Turbo Sim, thus killing my Edge/ 3G capabilities.
I've got a G1 waiting for me at my house. I'll get it when I go home for Christmas Wednesday. I'm eager to play with it, but I've disliked the last two Windows Mobile phones I've used. We shall see. It's been a bad phone year for me. I started out with a Motorola Razr. Basic phone, but it worked well enough. It died a horrible death when my last car was totalled. Bought a T-Mobile Dash (HTC Excalibur). Wasn't a huge fan, but it worked. Then that randomly took a dump. Bought a first gen iPhone from a friend & replaced the Dash. I accidentally dropped the iPhone off my balcony & spiderwebbed the screen. It still worked, but it was all ugly. Started using the second Dash, but then that broke (again, completely random). Bought the aforementioned iPhone 3G & that's still kicking after four months. Last edited by cow; 12-21-2008 at 11:27 AM. |

If you're referring to HTC, then this will be a huge step up for you. |

I use an enV. I like it a lot... When my service runs out, I'm going to switch over to a prepaid though, and get a phone from Europe or the Middle East or something. The phones over there are significantly nicer, and so many more to choose from!

I've had the two HTC Excaliburs & they were both crap, BUT, I'm optimistic, as everything Google does seems to be golden. Anywho, I'll have opinions by the weekend. |

the best is to get a carrier that uses a SIM card, so you can sell ur phone or trade it at anytime......and get a new. so far I used 4 phones with the same SIM card.

Regarding Sim cards. The G1 will be the first Carrier branded call phone I have bought in 5 years. I normally buy HTC through eBay and get the European models. I love that I can swap in any sim card, including any carrier worldwide. |
