So I was pissed the other day because my trusty Logitech MX Revolution mouse of seven years suddenly stopped working

Thank you internet. I found a video of a guy taking apart a more modern USB receiver and inserting a tiny folded piece of paper behind the circuit board, thus promoting better contact. I was able to apply a similar method to my mouse's receiver without even having to take apart the USB receiver.

wish i got a trackball with one more extra button. mine right now has 4 buttons. the one i use to use on my mac long time ago had like 6 buttons.

Probably a realistic $0 since I have plenty of extra mouse that are almost as good

and we just calculated our taxes

Taking control of our own QuickBooks (previously the accountant hosted it), and taking advantage of having a CPA for a wife, we hope to get our taxes and withholdings managed better, so we can avoid ridiculous tax bills during this time of the year. The accountant had QB set up to withhold 8% on a couple of bonus checks when it really should have been more like 25%

i get to pay taxes each yr.... especially for state.
