yah, mine too. but i kinda plateau'ed around late 30's... :ugh: i started realizing being a work acholic in my line of work is a big waste of my life. i work for a major corp so it's not like i make the biggest decisions at the top. i can do very well at my senior level, but the company can still f-k me if they start selling or watnot. :ugh:

been spending my time wisely. :icon08: :p middle class wins when you spend time wisely with family and stuff you like to do on your free time, i think. money is not everything..especially not at the nickels and dimes im making.

:iagree: physical work is good for you

back in those days though a dollar was actually worth something! now everything has inflated so much the wages just cannot keep up, thus making us all poorer :ugh2:

if you look at the cost of things (like cars or homes) vs the wage and take the same variables from 50 years ago you can see how we are all actually making less/hour then back in those days :ugh2:

im sure it will near 4x when they are teens. :eekdance: hahaha. i tell my kids to go eat a burger before heading out to sushi. ;) :rofl2:

another year+ I can go write my Masters electrician which is actually just a test based on safety and building code etc. but you need to have a trade before you get a masters certificate. I need to get a masters so I can get a contractors license and all the permit numbers that would allow me to start my own electrical business :ugh2:

kenchan 02-13-2014 11:17 AM

.. so in other news, my cord that i was suppose to use with my BT reciever module thingie is late due to weather. :icon08:
