im not saying working at a grocery store is bad, but the biggest lesson for me was working at this one particular grocery store... :ugh2: it taught me very quickly to study harder NOT to become one of them. :icon17:

imho, minimum wage should be used for kids to get a taste of real life... for learning experience. but that's just me. :D

LOL @ child labor comment :rofl2: Mowing yards definitely sucked as a kid, but I truly enjoy taking care of my own lawn now. I've always likes being outside even if it's doing manual labor. Sitting inside an office all day gets old quickly for me. I just leave and go home sometimes if I'm not feeling it. But then I come into work several hours early fairly regularly, and I typically work some on the weekends. The joys of not having a boss :icon17:

:bowrofl:

I hated not only the HUGE lawns, but I loathed the massive ones WITH the rolling hills landscape , frickin' bull! LOL

Sorry, but I was kidding. I never did that. I was a brick layer for a while during college. I was also a bookstore clerk, Christmas tree sorter, inventory control person, demolition guy (without explosives), prep cook, dishwasher and teacher/tutor of freshmen.
