what a busy day!

it all started with visitors over to come see the new baby, they left around lunch time. Then in the afternoon we all went to Home Depot to get a new water heater we are finally done with the stupid rental! I know wtf why rent? especially a tradesman? long story short the builder had a rental in it when we bought this house last december and rental company said it was $450 for early cancelation fees!  I was pissed. So I did the math and it would be $385 to wait one year, after one year no cancelation fee , so we pay the $15/month for the year :ugh2:

then after getting that home and swapped with the old one (3-4 hours total including store time!) I had lacrosse game tonight :happydance:

alphajam 01-19-2014 10:59 PM

you can rent water heaters?

LMBmikeZ 01-19-2014 11:04 PM

For lacrosse we played a F-ing awesome game and won in a come back! To start it off I get to the game late :shakes head: I am just glad it is winter league and not my semi-pro league…… anyway we are down 3-2 when I get there so I rush to get dressed and on the bench I missed maybe 9-10 mins of the first period.

End of the first it was 5-3 I had an assist and probably 5-6 loose balls (possession scoops)

Second period we played strong had two dumb penalties one for too many men the other was just from the opponent taking a dive when my brother of all people hit him and he is not the biggest hitter out there :icon14: end of period 8-6 us down by 2.

Third period now we come out strong and score one in the opening minute. Not long after that on my second shift of the period I managed to scoop a rebound and high tail down the floor beating the two guys chasing me and was left with only one guy to beat for a breakaway. He was much slower and couldn't back pedal fast enough to keep up with me so I knew I had him I crossed him up by going from one side to another as if to pass him, to keep eye contact with me he had to keep turning his head back and forth and he ended up falling! :icon17: so I got to walk in from just past half on the goalie and rip a shot from just past the slot putting it far side hip height in the back of the net! This tied the game! 8-8! We never looked back we ended up winning 13-9!

yep, furnaces water softeners basically any appliance even furniture :shakes head:

water heater is the only thing I have ever rented though :ugh2: and it wasn't by choice it was already in the house when I bought so I ended up taking over the rental and waited the year to save the extra money!

get this I inquired about buying it out so I didn't have to do anything essentially and just be done with it. They said 1200 or 1300+tax :icon14::gtfo2: I payed $608 + tax plus another $40-50 in plumbing parts, $15 of which was to add another shut off valve :ugh2: so basically half price, that rental company is fucked

alphajam 01-19-2014 11:11 PM

Dafuq? Was it like an Aarons or something like a mom and pops rental place?
