Wheeew, just got done turning my wheels. Was nice to see my cars, but cold in the garage 32F... :ugh:

Tires were still pressured plenty high 38.5 on my G, 39.5 on my Z

Checked for mice bites, no issue. No leaks everything checked out.

:hello: guys

Just got back from Mini GaleForce's swimming lesson. Put him to bed, now a bit of daddy time. Getting ready for a major snow fall tonight and into tomorrow. They are calling for 15-20cm of snow depending on the area. :ugh2:

Should make for a fun drive to work and back. :icon14:

So I'm back in here and ready to post-whore!

I just picked up a brand new 15" MacBook Pro Retina friday and $2534 later I have a great machine to allow me to post-whore more than ever! The battery died on my other laptop so I haven't booted it up in forever and I've been checking forums via iPhone and its difficult to whore it up with that.

You can't go wrong with a Mac.

Footloose301 02-04-2014 09:39 PM

Thankfully I remembered to use the student discount from Apple and saved $200. They don't verify anything when you use it either lol. I hope everyone uses it and doesn't pay full price. They're expensive enough as it is.

Agreed. I bought my first 17" MacBook Pro in Aug 2007 and still works like a champ, minus the battery that doesn't work. I doubt I could find a windows garbage from 2007 that still works like new lol

I started back at school this semester so I decided to treat myself to something I've wanted for awhile and gave my mother the old one and wireless printer to go with it.

eastwest2300 02-04-2014 09:44 PM

believe it or not, replacing the batteries on MacBooks is pretty easy, I did it for my MacBook, Apple wants to charge you over $100 to do it.

eastwest2300 02-04-2014 09:45 PM

I treated myself to the new macbook air... I fricken love it.

eastwest2300 02-04-2014 09:46 PM

I admit it, I'm an apple fan boy..:icon17::icon17::icon17:

Footloose301 02-04-2014 09:48 PM

Also picked up a new printer. HP 7520. Always wanted an AirPrint enabled printer so I don't have to boot up a computer or anything. My employer gave me an iPad and whenever I need to print something it takes forever to login into my work stuff from a computer to print, so at least I can just walk right into my house and print straight off the iPad now. Might even be able to use it on my taxes next year.

haha yes, considering this one is a 2007.... it's BEFORE the unibody design came out:icon18:

I just didn't feel like spending $130 on a battery from Apple so I just replaced the entire thing lmao

eastwest2300 02-04-2014 09:53 PM

If you ever had to replace the battery, you can get them new on ebay.. roughly $50 give or take.

Married filing separate means I have to mail it in. I sent it last Monday but I'm expecting another week before I see any updates.
