I would assume she posted photos up somewhere, but I wasn't around this past weekend. I would like new wheels, but the cost per unit of happiness is too high. I would rather spend a few hundred bucks to repair all of the nicks on my stock Rays and save the extra money for performance mods. |

If I could find some used and mint F14's or the like, I would consider them immediately. That way I can get rid of the spacers. But then I have to lower the car too and get new tires. Snowball effect. :( |

There are no scratches around the area and the stud is still there. I'm not sure if this means it fell off somehow or if someone deliberately took it to get a key made up and come back to get the wheels..... |

I'm half tempted to just sell the new wheels with the tires and go back to OEM.

that said, i think your tire place either forgot to torque that one lock, or a squirrel came by and took it home with him to find a matching key. :icon17:  on the garage. you just have to work harder when you want nice things. its just the way it its. :) it's more effective to get a tilt sensor installed vs wheel locks imho. |
What are the specs? I'll take'em! :p

You'll be fine.
You have insurance, right? They should cover it should they get stolen - it's a hassle, yes, but not the end of the world. |
Quote:
they go by oem price which is usually more than aftermarket. your insurance could also cover aftermarket wheels if you keep your receipts. it depends on your insurance i guess. plus any damage they do to the car, also should be covered under your comprehensive coverage. |
that's one thing i changed on my Z and G's insurance policy. i dont park my cars anywhere, they are garaged, i can fix my own dings and most scratches. no sense paying for $0 comprehensive when i can do most of the repairs. went with $500. that's about the price where i would need to get professional help.
hummmm....that sounds like im crazy. :ugh: :icon17: |
wow it's stupid cold today :ugh: and will be even more stupid tomorrow. :ugh2:
not sure why humans even decided to settle here. :shakes head: |

How hard or illegal is it to wire things up so that your vehicle will set off a shock when touched? I'm assuming this is illegal or it would be common place. But grrrr, thieves annoy the h3ll outra me. |
