The Rivalry between those two legends is what many people often remember, which is fine and all but Prost was a damn good driver even before Senna came in. and if you listen to what he said in the interview above, It was Prost's suggestion to the bosses to "bring in the younger guy, if you are aiming for the future, take Ayrton." when they were trying to decide on between him or another driver to drive with Prost.
