A $2500 mid-90s Suburban would be fine to just park on your property and use for outdoors stuff, and you could buy whatever daily driver works for you.

I'm not interested on driving on the property, more in driving through snow, across mud and creeks, etc. on camping and hiking trips.

I just meant you could park it when you weren't doing outdoors stuff. And an old vehicle would be perfect for that, and you wouldn't have to worry about getting it dinged up and dirty. Trade the Z in on something that works better for a DD.

I love my 92 blazer... It starts in -40° weather... heats up nice.. and drives well..
