What about something cheap for on-road use and a RZR or ATV for the offroad stuff? Why does it have to be the same vehicle?

A $2500 mid-90s Suburban would be fine to just park on your property and use for outdoors stuff, and you could buy whatever daily driver works for you.

Glad you love yours.
Now, back to the SUV... Seems like those who know the product support the Grand Jeep Cherokee plan. I admit I am kindof set on it, but wondered if they had any issues that anyone knew of first hand. I know the older one's certainly did, but the last 2 iterations I thought were pretty solid. |

Is there a dealer close to your property? Depending on how far out in the sticks you are, you might want to base your decision partially on whether you can get it serviced locally.

Yes, I think there is everything but Aston/Ferrari and the like, and there might be a Porsche. It's one of the richest concentrations of multimillionaires in the US because of the headquarters for Wal-Mart, JB Hunt, and Tyson.

I just meant you could park it when you weren't doing outdoors stuff. And an old vehicle would be perfect for that, and you wouldn't have to worry about getting it dinged up and dirty. Trade the Z in on something that works better for a DD.

I can't speak for current or the newest, ugliest Grand Cherokee but I can tell you my last Chrysler/Jeep product was garbage and others who had similar models and years concurred.
Make sure you're in your Z when you drive it off the cliff

I have rented plenty of Jeeps this past year and I am not overwhelmed by their performance or handling.
