You know, these data might be useful. The 350Z didn't have ESC or side curtain airbags one some of the trim levels. Perhaps that accounts for the relatively high fatality rate?

there's a lot of other factors you should consider other than "crash deaths and the vehicles in which drivers met their end"... vehicle safety, driver demographics, locations, weather, etc...

I thought it was interesting to split out single vehicle vs multi-vehicle incidents. Single vehicle incidents probably indicate a vehicle that is difficult to handle either before or during an incident. Hence the look at ESC on things like the 350Z.
