it costs electricity, coolant, operator, tooling, etc...not really a per hour or day deal...

When I was in banking (thank heavens no longer) I had a client with a few pieces of CNC equipment and I recall him remarking the ongoing costs of running them, hence my comment.

Always ongoing costs if you crash it a lot the typical ongoing costs get absorbed into the price of each part made. doesnt cost much per hour.
