Send GWAR to the Superbowl!

If you love Gwar (and how can you not?), there's a petition up to send them to the Superbowl for the halftime show.

Will it happen? Probably not -- a "wardrobe malfunction" at a Gwar show usually means a monster's head was decapitated and is spraying more blood over you than was originally intended

Still, let's make the NFL see Gwar fans mean business and tell them this year we want a halftime show like nothing else ever before.

If you aren't familiar with Gwar and you like any of the following: Heavy Metal, Thrashy Punk Rock/Hardcore/Crossover, Monsters, Zombies, Evil Aliens, Cthulhu like chaos hell-spawn, all things Halloweenish, Muppets (especially the giant crazy monster ones -- not the twats, like Grover...), GO SEE GWAR next time they come to your area.

Never heard of 'em? Not sure about all this? Google them -- especially vids of their live shows on youtube -- they are all about the total mind blowing experience more than the music alone (tho' that's not bad either).

If you decide to go next time they are around, and don't know what to expect, wear stuff you don't mind getting utterly destroyed and splattered with demon/alien blood, bile, piss, jizz and god knows what else, have some strong vodka and prepare for nothing like you've ever seen or encountered before!
