I don't drink very often, but when I do. 50% of the time I am alone.
I always enjoy a small glass of scotch or whiskey when I write a big paper. I also like drinking beers while I clean the house or do artwork etc.. I guess that can be seen as unhealthy, but sometimes its relaxing and I don't really go overboard. If you're getting pissed drunk by yourself often, you may have some issues.
