I keep my bar well stocked. I don't descriminate on fruity drinks, I just prefer simpler concoctions.

if having one sure fruity is fine but when drinking all night I want something more basic and less mix

I haven't tried the single barrel. Do you consider it a drinking whiskey? The standard JD is really (IMHO) only good for shooting.

Single Barrel is more of a sippin' whiskey. JD #07 is more of a shootin' or mixin' drink.
