the house is 14yrs old this year. i have huge windows on the back side of the house (living room especially) which dont' help at all... i dont feel any air leaking through the frame, but the glass is cold. :eekdance:

wife and i've been talking about getting thick draperies next season.

LMBmikeZ 01-06-2014 09:19 AM

 yep drapes will help I did that at my old house before I moved last year. New house is a brand new house so obviously no issues. It is nice because our operating costs are cheaper then at the old house for gas and hydro but we have a bigger nicer house now :ugh2:

A full work week? What gives...

LMBmikeZ 01-06-2014 09:28 AM

:iagree: especially when it is a 6 day one :shakes head:

Haboob 01-06-2014 09:29 AM

When is MLK Day?! I feel like it should be here already.

:icon17:

At least Arizona is finally recognizing it.

I'm looking to build in a couple years as well for this reason. New house has much less upkeep.
