I'm just gonna put this out there...

The idea that Santa is a jolly man who lives at The North Pole lends itself to stereotyping him as caucasian. I'd even venture to say he's of Nordic descent.
If you go with his known alias, Saint Nicholas (a.k.a. Nikolaos of Myra) he is a Christian saint from Greece. Or Turkey. Or maybe even Italy.
But he's not black.

Sorry, everyone. But I gotta go with Santa being a white guy based on his origins.
