I work for LVMPD, but I'm not a sworn officer. I just build and install all the electronics for the covert/undercover, unmarked/plain vehicles and bikes, as well as the black and whites.

Word of advice for the unmarked.....the wiring you run through the rear that comes by the rear bumper hangs too low at times. Work on better mountin :D

^^ hah, ok cool, I cant say it never happened here before, I've seen it with my own eye's. (shhh).

In defense, we've improved to installing ALL cables inside the car/van/truck/etc, the only cables outside are the strobe cables going under the bed of a truck, or engine bay wiring (which are heavily loomed nowdays).

I was supposed to be in NYPD's Jan'09 class but I'm sure you know about that whole fiasco. Looks like I'll be Jan'10 now.

I'm considering California's CHP and SJPD as well.

You said you're processing, I'm assuming it's for NYPD?
