k40 calibre laser diffuser and detector.

Hey I was just wondering if I could get some feed back on the k40 laser diffuser and detector and if I should get it on the Z. I live in a small town and there's a lot of speed traps. Is there any other brand I should consider? This unit that I want is $1200 and $400 installed.

I never looked into radar/laser detectors because; do you think without it your going to get 1600 dollars worth of speeding tickets? Thats a lot!
