Need thoughts from the community
So, I'm finalizing my business plan for a DIY garage. One of the debates going on between me and my partner is how much to charge per hour for a bay with a lift. Please put the highest you would be willing to pay per hour so I can get a gauge on what would be the highest people would be willing to pay.

Yes I will have onsite mechanics as well. There isn't one locally so the area is perfect for it. Just gauging the price people would pay. I say the 20-25 range. My partner wants to charge more so I'm getting more opinions.

For just the use of the lift, $20/hr sounds good to me. Having a qualified mechanic available to answer questions ought to be worth another $5-10/hr. Some might need to use standard tools, OBD scanner, &c - probably worth another $5-15/hr.

Just make sure your rate is enough to cover your largest expense.... insurance.
