Looks like the roadster doesn't have the plastic tether. Makes sense, no airbag curtain.

Nice. They didn't happen to have a part number on hand did they?

I have a forum member with a roadster wanting a pillar gauge pod made. He didn't know if the pillars are different, and my dealer isn't very good at finding this stuff out. They rely on me to do their homework.

He said it came up with several different part numbers without a VIN. I would think they are the same across the years, but maybe not...

That's what I figured. Good luck getting the right part

That will probably be easiest, unless he's willing to share his VIN with you. But knowing that you're such a sketchy person, what with the tattoos and all, I can understand the hesitation
