Wow but the weather was nice yesterday. 74° in the afternoon? Perfect.

About to make my first cuppa joe and go sit on the back patio swing before getting ready for work.

Have a great day all!!
Good morning Mr. Happy

Have you considered SSD? I've decided that until SSD with storage size capacities come down in price, I'm sticking with my current set up at home and at the office - single SSD primary OS drive plus internal or networked RAID 5 using 4x traditional HDs (home is internal, work is a stand-alone NAS).

Nice!! Enjoy your long weekend

Looks like I'll have a long week I worked most of Sunday in the hopes that I could play golf on Friday, but my wrist has been bothering me the past few days and looks like it will keep me sidelined

Ugh, ssd is so expensive though. I have 4TB of storage on my computer, idek how much that would cost in ssd...

That's why I don't have them for storage yet. An 80 GB SSD cost me more than 2x 2TB mechanical drives when I originally purchased them several years ago.

I want to add a SSD to run my OS in my MB Pro with the platter style 750gb harddrive as my secondary drive that holds my Aperture library, and everything else other than the OS and applications. I need to figure out how to go about moving/redirecting the photo library. I would have done it already if it wasn't for that.

Sucks about the wrist. I'm sure you'll find something else fun to do this weekend.

Yeah, that can be tricky depending on what software you use. I wish I could give you some direction. Once you're ready to switch drives, however, I recommend Acronis True Image. It is fast and has always worked for me without issue.

It is Texas vs Oklahoma (biggest rivalry now) on Saturday, so I'll probably be pretty drunk. The way we've been playing this year, there's a pretty slim chance we'll make a game of it, and a pretty good chance they'll spank us by four TDs or more Luckily, we're hosting the watch party at our house, so I don't have to worry about throwing up on someone else's couch if our play is bad enough

Maybe if you talk dirty to it. Like (cue slow porno music) "you know where I'm gonna stick you baby? Oh yeah, you're gonna be a bad little hard drive and do every little thing I tell you to. We're gonna be rearranging your insides ALL. NIGHT. LONG."

Or maybe if you just throw it really hard across the room, **** might just get jumbled up the way you want it.

Yah I have, but just like you said...it's too expensive. No biggie. None of that stuff is too important. Besides, I back it up to an external drive.
