I decided to disable idle-scanning because backups are much more important to me.

Norton is a ridiculous resource hog... I get rid of it and install AVG free in lieu of Norton on any machine I encounter.

What's sad is I run multiple machines at home and at the office, and the ones that are the completely stable 100% of the time are the two with NO anti-virus protection at all. I use an enterprise level hardware firewall that does just fine. I keep AV protection on a few machines just in case because they contain critical data.

im just moving a couple hundred gigabytes. :D

i did a clone of a 350gb HD onto my 500gb... inorder to cone it back to the 350gb to backup my important files (about 150gb of virtual instrument software files), i need to rid the gopro footage in that 500gb HD to get it smaller than 350gb. so i thinks...

yah, virtual window shopping at amazon is fun. you have an amazon visa card? you can accumulate points using it at other stores too and use it towards a future purchase.

Yeah, Norton has been that way for as long as I can remember. But I decided to give it a try because of the 360 package that includes firewall protection and there wasn't really a competitor out there [at least that I could find] that offered the same level of protection. My house is also cloaked in a personal VPN for added security  We can't ever be too safe in the information age.

Nope, no Amazon visa.

I only have one CC. Well, technically two, but I opened one to get 0% when I bought my iPhone 5 and it's almost paid off (Dec) and I will cancel it.

I need to cancel my one with BofA and get one that will reward me or something. I don't use it much at all, but if there are rewards, I may use it more.
