Morning everyone!!!! :hello:

Morning!

I'm off to a great start. I rushed to get to get the client site for an early meeting from Cleveland downtown (about 35min drive). It is pouring rain and everyone here in Ohio drives like a moron so that got me worked up. Get to the office with 15mins to spare and realize I had forgotten my umbrella and it's about a 1/8 mile walk from the employee lot to the office. Great. I run in, get soaked in the process, get all settled at my desk and the client isn't here for the meeting. Nice. On the flip side, they're still paying a massive rate/hr for me to sit here because they didn't show for our meeting. :D

Take it easy, man.

It happens. They finally showed up 45mins late then moved the meeting time. At least it's packing day already. Home tomorrow evening and exhaust install Friday hopefully. :D

I go home tomorrow night. I am not having fun on this trip.

What exhaust are you installing?

Where are you at this week? Tough client?

I got the ARK Grip CBE. I hope the install goes smoothly and every lines up as it should.

I am in Minnesota -- these guys are making me nuts. Friggin' 3rd party solutions (to support crappy business processes) are not working and everyone is in "pass the buck" mode. I do not want to be on this project any more. Go-live is Dec 29. Ha!!!

Also, the ARK gets good reviews. It's a little too flashy for me -- I love my Berk cat-back -- it's nice and understated.

My client goes into systems integrated testing on Dec 7. Boy are they going to be in for a treat when they A.) have to work hours longer than 7-4, B.) have to come in on weekends and C.) have to start doing actual work as we go into more of an advisory role during SIT rather than being hands on. I can feel A LOT of change requests coming, which I guess is more revenue for the firm, but means I'll be here longer.

I spent countless hours looking at exhausts. I'm partial to the shiny cans but my main concern was a smooth sounding exhaust with little to no drone. I narrowed it to the FI 18" resonated CBE and the ARK grip and finally decided on the ARK based on many reviews commenting on how it barely drones when cruising. We shall see! I've read about issues with clearing the cross member so I'll have some pipe clamps on hand incase I need to "lift" the exhaust hanger to prevent rattling.

Good luck on the installation -- you'll do fine.

I do not think there's a limit here on how much I bill these guys. That's how they act, at least.
