VERY long time ago, a semi without the trailer launched from a stop light.

i couldnt believe how fast they can actually go. :icon17:

Well... i dont' care how much they weigh.

Your typical Peterbilt tractor has a 12-16L engine.
- 500hp
- 1400 ft/lbs
- Shortest gearing known to man

yeah i used to work with truckers... they'd race (to the speed limit) with fully loaded semi's. :bowrofl:

I've been seeing more and more aero on trucks and trailers lately. Every dollar in fuel saved adds up big time.

I've been seeing those more and more in the midwest these days. Smart investment.

hope they do something about the water spraying sideways while driving next to them in the rain. i think some aero dynamics would help that too.
