I was on celica.org for over 10 years, and while I met a lot of great people in my area through that forum, it was mostly childish dribble, a lot of politics and a lot of sucking up to the owner of the forum (if you wanted to be in the "in" crowd). Bluebatmobile can probably chime in on that (he was one of the "in" guys).

older car guys can be real snoots, tho. There's a forum I'm on where the avg age is higher, and it's not as friendly

You know, this forum actually reminds me of 350Z-Tech's early years. People are generally polite, pleasant, and mature enough to talk about differences in opinion without any party having to be banned. Of course, there are exceptions. I still like and frequent My350Z, I just don't post as often. My 350Z (the car) won't be on island for another few months, so I only have 370Z issues to deal with . Besides, some of the new owners on that site p!ss me off with their new threads that, what seems like, I read back in 2003 (DE) and 2007 (HR).

Bunch a in here I tell ya.

I have to agree, this is one of the best forums I've belonged to aside from a local sportbike one I was on when I lived in Vegas. I was actually a mod on a Wrangler forum for a spell and it went to **** after awhile and I was more than happy to leave after I traded my Heep in.
